Green happens to be synonymous with nature and food wise, it will be fun to follow nature by going green today, that is, eating the green fruits and vegetables.
It is well known that a healthy habit goes a long way in ensuring that we have a healthy body and in extension, a healthy family – a healthy community – a healthy nation
Green vegetables and fruits are full of vitamins and our body needs those vitamins and nutrients from fruits and vegetables in order for everything in our body to work properly. But unfortunately, we tend to run away from the natural diets that are full of these vitamins.
Establishing a fruit and vegetables diet simply means eating more of fruits and vegetables each day. They have fewer calories and tend to leave you satisfied. Green fruits and vegetables like: apple, cucumbers, spinach, garden eggs, and others are loaded with nutrients as they contain water, vitamins, fibre and minerals.
For optimum health and maximum weight loss, you should strive for a fruit and vegetable diet with 8 or 9 or more servings of fruits and vegetables
Raw fruit is always the best in terms of nutritional value. If you need to alter fruit in anyway, cooked, baked or steamed is better than boiled. Boiling lowers the nutritional value. Also vegetables like fruits are best eaten raw or steamed and if you make it a habit you will feel better about yourself and your life.
